Welcome to StoreFramer Studio (the “App”), provided by NiuByte Studio (“we”, “us”). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before downloading, installing, or using the App.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. App purpose
StoreFramer Studio is a Mac desktop tool for designing, managing, previewing, and exporting App Store screenshot artwork. You may use the App to manage multiple app projects, maintain localized copy, edit screenshot pages, add stickers or laurel badges, configure device presentations, and export image files for store submission workflows.
The App is intended to assist with screenshot design and asset management. It does not replace App Store Connect, Apple review rules, or any third-party platform requirements.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Mac devices you own or control.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App, brand, interface design, code, templates, documentation, or other intellectual property to you.
3. Technical requirements
The App requires a compatible macOS device. Some features may require a recent system version, App Store purchase status, an active network connection, or availability of Apple services.
You are responsible for your device, system, network, storage, and backup environment so the App can operate properly.
4. Maintenance and support
We may provide updates, bug fixes, feature changes, or compatibility improvements from time to time. We are not obligated to maintain all old versions, old operating systems, or every device environment.
If you need support, contact us using the email address below. We will handle feedback where reasonable, but we do not guarantee that every issue can be resolved.
5. User content and responsibility
You are responsible for screenshots, app icons, backgrounds, text, brand assets, sticker content, laurel badge content, and other materials that you import, create, edit, store, or export with the App.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use that content and that it does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights of third parties.
You may not use the App to create, export, or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, misleading, malicious, harassing, hateful, sexual, privacy-violating, or App Store-rule-violating content.
6. Exports and store review
The App helps generate image files intended for the App Store Connect screenshot upload workflow. Apple may update size, content, format, device, and review requirements from time to time.
You remain responsible for checking that exported content meets current App Store requirements before uploading. We do not guarantee that any exported file, copy, asset, or screenshot set will pass store review.
7. Free, Pro, and watermarks
The App may include free features and Pro features. Free exports may include a StoreFramer Studio watermark, feature limits, or export limits.
After purchasing or subscribing to Pro, the App may enable applicable features and remove export watermarks based on your purchase status. We may change free features, Pro features, pricing, or licensing models as the product evolves.
8. Purchases, subscriptions, and refunds
Purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled within Apple’s required timeframe.
Pricing, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and payment methods are governed by the App Store page and Apple’s applicable terms. We cannot directly process App Store payments or refunds.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, crack, rent, sell, distribute, or sublicense the App.
- Bypass purchase checks, subscription limits, watermark limits, or other technical protection measures.
- Use automation, scripts, or abnormal usage patterns to abuse export, preview, or project features.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the App, App Store, Apple services, or third-party services.
- Use the App to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content.
10. Third-party services and links
The App may work with Apple App Store, App Store Connect, system sharing features, file system access, email, or third-party cloud services. Third-party services are provided by their respective providers and are governed by their own terms and policies.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, rules, fees, or data handling.
11. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, continuous availability, and non-infringement.
We aim to provide a stable editing and export experience, but we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, data-loss-free, or meet your specific requirements.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, including data loss, business interruption, store review failure, lost revenue, or third-party claims.
You are responsible for losses caused by asset rights issues, store rule changes, third-party services, device issues, user actions, use of exported files, or failure to back up projects.
13. Termination
If you violate these Terms, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your right to use the App or related services where permitted by law. After termination, provisions related to intellectual property, user content, disclaimers, and limitation of liability will continue to apply.
14. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as product features, legal requirements, or operations change. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, these Terms will be interpreted and enforced under the relevant legal principles of our location or service operation location. Any dispute should first be resolved through friendly negotiation.
